Tongji University International Short Term Program Introduction
Tongji University's short-term credit course program, aims to establish an international, standardized, and innovative curriculum. This program is open to international university students and is designed to foster exchange and cooperation between domestic top-tier universities and renowned international institutions. With the goal of pioneering a new international talent development model, students can expand their horizons, interact with international students, and get their international academic and language skills enhanced. This program will run from December to January and June to July every term respectively.
Launch of 2023 Tongji University Florence Overseas Campus Summer School
As the first large-scale overseas teaching program organized by a Chinese university in Italy after the pandemic, the opening ceremony of the 2023 Tongji University Florence Overseas Campus Summer School took place in Florence, Italy, on July 4th. Vice President of the University of Florence, Prof. Giorgia Giovannetti, the head of the Architecture Department, as well as representatives from Tongji University’s Office of Teaching Quality Management, Undergraduate School, Career Center, and delegates from the Sino-Italian Campus, the School of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics, the College of Design and Innovation, the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the School of Political Science and International Relations, and the School of Automotive Studies attended the ceremony.
Education Ministers Gather at Tongji University to Advance High-Quality International Cooperation
Recently, the 2024 World Digital Education Conference was held in Shanghai, with the theme Digital Education: Application, Sharing, Innovation. More than 800 representatives, including education ministers and diplomats from various countries, attended the conference. On the occasion of the conference, Simona-Mirela MICULESCU, Chairperson of the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, Anđela JAKŠIĆ STOJANOVIĆ, Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation of Montenegro, Marieta GEORGIEVA, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Bulgaria, Vaine MOKOROA, Minister of Education of the Cook Islands, and others led delegations to visit Tongji University and held in-depth exchanges with university leaders including FANG Shouen, Secretary of the University Party Committee.

Course Description:
The purpose of this course is to enhance your ability to read and evaluate the published financial statements of public and enterprises as a basis for business decisions.
Emphasis is based on examining a range of specific issues in financial accounting. Learning to understand and interpret corporate financial reports is fundamental to a solid business education.
Students will learn how the economic transactions of a firm are reported in the financial statements and related disclosures.
